Another trip to a fabulous location in the name of science! As a part of my MSc in Marine Environmental Management I had the opportunity to spend just under two weeks in the Maldives on a coral reef ecology field course. We were based in Faafuu Atoll on Magoodhoo and it was an amazing trip.

Whilst there we had a crash course in coral reef ecology, reef fish and invertebrate ID, SCUBA survey techniques and more. We had, on average, two dives a day, snorkelling time and lectures. It was pretty full on, but in between the learning and surveying I managed to get a few nice pictures of the reefs around us.
