Hello Internet!

So today is my first day back in the west country! Home sweet home (Sorry mum!). I didn’t miss it while I was home in Kent, but as the train got closer and closer to Falmouth and I started seeing familiar sights I just felt myself grinning like a loon. It kind of helped that it was gloriously sunny and spring has just about come into play so the trees are all in blossom! It was also made a lot nicer by the fact that one of my housemates was already in the house, so I came home to a sit down on the sofa, a catch up and a movie once Mr Tesco had delivered my food order! A great first night back I must say! And Guardians of the Galaxy has an amazing soundtrack. My housemate and I are hooked!

The last week at home was fairly hectic. I caught up with two of my good friends from school, saw the whole family on my mum’s side for various big birthday congratulations and also as a kind of ‘goodbye Harriet’, which was totally surreal since I’m not leaving for another 2/3months and I also went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour!!! Which, as a huge fan of both the books and the movies, was AMAZING! I would definitely like to go back again, it’s made me want to re-read and watch them all, but I’ll have to wait until after my exams!

I’m going into lockdown on Monday because that gives me two whole weeks to revise, so hopefully I can get a dive or two in before revision mania starts!

Nothing else on the year abroad front, I’m waiting to hear back from them now that I’ve sent off the last round of forms and then it’s probably going to be a visa/accommodation/modules/flights frenzy, but that’s all part of the fun!
